School Year Tuition Policies

Tuition is based on a 40 lesson school year session and is divided into monthly payments. August and June are half tuition and cover two weeks each. The payment for the remaining 36 weeks is divided equally between September and May, and accounts for four lessons each month. August tuition and the registration fee is due on August 15th. All other tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month.
Tuition may be mailed, dropped in the payment box, or automatically debited from a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover charge card left on file.

Annual Registration Fee - $75 and due by August 15th, 2023, or with new student registration.
Late fee - Tuition is due by the 1st of each month and if not received by then, a late fee of $40 will be applied. To avoid late fees and ensure timely payments, please provide credit card information for automatic debiting. MasterCard, American Express, Visa and Discover are accepted.
Discounts- There is a $10 discount applied to every family’s second monthly lesson. The discount for the summer session is $20.
Lesson Withdrawal - In order to notify the barn of withdrawal and cease responsibility for payment of services, a four-week written notice must be submitted to providenceequestrian@gmail.com. Accounts must be settled at the time of withdrawal.
Make-Up Lessons - We can only provide make-up lessons for the following circumstances:
1) Injury or illness with doctor’s note provided or
2) Barn closure due to weather or staffing unavailability. In these instances, you will be notified as early as possible, and the lesson will be rescheduled.
To notify the barn of a lesson that will be missed due to illness or injury, please email providenceequestrian@gmail.com .
Horse Assignments - These are based on rider suitability as well as lesson plans and are up to the sole discretion of the instructor. However, make sure and let your instructor know which of our school horses are your favorites! Remember- It benefits every rider to ride many different horses.
Unmounted Lessons - PEC will hold up to two unmounted lessons during the session. Material presented in these lessons is a valuable part of a rider’s education.
